Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a meticulous and disciplined Digitizing Records Specialist to join our Global Digital Solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end conversion of physical assets into digital records, including high-capacity scanning, rigorous quality control, and the precise reassembly of sensitive documents to maintain their original sequence and integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume production, warehouse, or administrative environment balancing speed and accuracy.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn professional imaging software and scanning hardware.
• Exceptional attention to detail with ability to perform tactile tasks like removing staples, sorting, and reassembling documents after scanning.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry boxes up to 40 pounds and maintain manual dexterity for document handling.
• Proficiency in reading, writing and communicating in English to meet safety and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute High-Capacity Digital Conversion: prepare, sort, and scan hard-copy files using imaging technology to create high-quality electronic images.
• Drive Quality & Data Integrity: perform indexing and quality control to ensure accuracy and clarity of digital assets.
• Maintain Operational Continuity: complete internal documentation and tracking logs while following workplace organization standards for a safe production environment.
