Job summary

Mosaic Insurance is seeking a dynamic underwriter to build our underwriters capabilities on top of our digital platform. The role focuses on underwriting US cyber and tech E&O SME business, developing broker relationships, and delivering high-quality underwriting with speed and clarity.

You will handle referrals beyond automated underwriting, contribute to product appetite decisions, and ensure excellent service from submission through renewal while working in a fast-paced, growth-focused

Qualifications

• Two-plus years’ experience in cyber underwriting or broking.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be proactive.
• Strong negotiation skills with sophisticated advisors.
• Knowledge of cyber and tech insurance products; represent Mosaic at client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite US cyber and tech E&O SME business on Mosaic’s digital platform with focus on portfolio quality and profitable growth.
• Handle referrals and edge cases beyond automated underwriting; pricing, structuring and human underwriting calls.
• Build and cultivate relationships with brokers and distribution partners across the US as the primary underwriting contact.
• Sell Mosaic’s proposition to brokers; articulate appetite, coverage and platform capabilities to drive submissions.
• Ensure a slick, responsive service experience for brokers and end customers from submission through bind to renewal.
• Feed broker and client input back into product and underwriting leadership to surface coverage requests and appetite gaps.
• Identify new distribution opportunities and product extensions as the SME franchise grows.
