Job summary

Citi in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Senior Manager for Digital Software Engineering to lead a team delivering secure, scalable software. You will set standards, mentor talent, and coordinate cross-team efforts toward on-time delivery and high quality.

Strong cloud, distributed systems, and CI/CD expertise are essential to drive architectural excellence and policy compliance. You will guide strategic initiatives, manage budgets and resources, and ensure alignment with Citi’s leadership principles

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of relevant experience in apps development or senior level experience in an Enterprise Architecture role.
• Expertise in all aspects of technology by understanding broader patterns and techniques for Citi’s cloud platforms (AWS, PCF, Akamai).
• Lead resources and act as a functional SME across the company with advanced knowledge of algorithms and distributed systems.
• Acquire NGA technology skills and understand CI/CD, automation, and secure coding practices.
• Demonstrate knowledge on automating code quality, performance, unit testing, and build processing in the CI/CD.

• Create mechanisms to onboard new talent and mentor others.
• Coach and provide feedback to direct reports to develop talent and careers.

• Deliver high-quality, secure, and maintainable code with best practices.
• Lead rapid, useful code reviews for changes submitted by others.
• Improve development and testing processes and foster collaboration.
