Job summary

Citi is seeking a Digital S/W Senior Engineer – Vice President to lead a software engineering team, shaping strategic cloud and platform initiatives in a fast-paced, global environment. You will mentor engineers, drive delivery of complex applications, ensure secure, scalable code, and align technical decisions with Citi's leadership principles and risk controls.

The role requires breadth of experience in distributed systems, cloud platforms, and CI/CD, with a proven track record of delivering

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of relevant Apps Development or senior level EA experience.
• Expertise across algorithms, data structures, distributed systems and networking.
• Experience with cloud platforms AWS, PCF, Akamai.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and resource planning abilities.
• Knowledge of automation of code quality, performance, unit testing, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Build and mentor a talent network across Citi teams.
• Set goals and balance workload to optimize department performance.
• Design, implement, and deploy software components; deliver high-quality code.
• Provide constructive code reviews and improve development processes.
• Ensure risk awareness and governance, aligning with Citi’s policies.
