Responsibilities

• Engaging peers to provide the best possible shopping experience and checkout.
• Communicating with team members and assigning daily work tasks.
• Mentoring and coaching team members to exceed customer service and sales goals.
• Cross-training and peer coaching to boost productivity.
• Help write department schedules to improve engagement and profitability.
• Ensure freshness and proper rotation of products.
• Guide compliance with food safety standards and safe work practices.
• Lead tasks in ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing, and display.
• Support Meijer culture and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Operate registers and handle cash when needed.
• Operate powered equipment where applicable.
