Job Description

The Programmatic Digital Sales Planner plays a vital role in our ad sales team, focusing on revenue growth through programmatic products across NBCU’s digital platforms. Reporting to the Manager of Programmatic Strategic Planning, this role involves campaign execution, collaboration with clients, ad tech partners, and internal stakeholders to meet revenue targets. A deep understanding of digital advertising and the ability to operate at the intersection of traditional and new media are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales, Planning, Ad Ops, and Account Management teams to develop and execute programmatic campaigns on NBCU’s digital properties and Peacock.
  • Partner with Programmatic Account Directors to increase revenue via guaranteed and PMP sales channels.
  • Create media plans aligned with client goals to maximize revenue.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring excellent service.
  • Oversee campaign setup, asset collection, and liaising with Ad Ops for launch and optimization.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance and deal health.
  • Communicate campaign status and issues proactively to internal teams.
  • Serve as an internal expert on digital programmatic advertising.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in digital media planning or client service.
  • Experience in programmatic advertising is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
