Job summary

Pueblo City County Library District is hiring a Digital Resource Librarian to oversee selection of media and electronic resources for adult and juvenile collections. The role includes managing subscription databases, using PCCLD collection development software, and coordinating with vendors on serials to keep the collection current and relevant.

You will monitor usage statistics, develop reports on electronic resources, and serve as PIC at the Rawlings Library.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program and two years of related work experience.
• Library experience and familiarity with electronic resources and collection development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Select media and electronic materials for adult and juvenile collections
• Manage subscription database collections to meet user needs
• Work with PCCLD Collection Development software
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for serials selection and acquisition
• Manage the collection of serial subscriptions to meet community needs
• Communicate resource updates and issues to staff
• Track monthly statistics of all e-resources and databases usage
• Develop and present reports on the use of electronic resources and databases
• Stays current on media reviews and e-resource trends
