Job summary

Pueblo City-County Library District (PCCLD) is hiring a Digital Resource Librarian to oversee electronic resources, including e-books, e-audiobooks, music, video, and databases. The role also curates the physical media and periodical collections, ensuring timely and relevant acquisitions to meet community needs.

The librarian will analyze collections, monitor trends, and coordinate with department managers to optimize purchases, while supporting public services and attending department meetings.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program.
• Two years of related work experience required.
• Experience with electronic resources and collection development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Select media and electronic materials for adult and juvenile collections.
• Manage subscription database collections to meet user needs.
• Work with PCCLD Collection Development software.
• Collaborate with 3rd party vendors for serials selection and acquisition.
• Maintain serials collections to serve the community.
