Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, this position is responsible for acquisitions, copy cataloging, and catalog maintenance within the library’s ILS. The successful candidate will combine technical skills with copy cataloging experience, basic accounting knowledge, curiosity, and a love of data. The position collaborates with PPL staff, vendors, and partner libraries in the Dirigo Libraries Consortium to support access to library collections. This position uses technology to ensuretimelyprocurement andaccuratemetadata and provides considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment. It requires a high degree of responsibility plus a comprehensive knowledge of, and ability to synthesize, a variety of library standards and conventions.This is a full-time, non-exempt position scheduled to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday.The starting pay range is $23.71-$27.77 per hour, commensurate with experience.Excellent benefits include health, dental, vision, retirement, and paid leave.
