Job summary

Edward Jones is seeking an associate to lead the Digital Operational Resiliency program across a spectrum of technologies and services. You will formalize strategies, document, test, and automate BC/DR analysis and planning in partnership with leadership and stakeholders.

The role focuses on resilient architectures with security integration across Azure, AWS, on-prem, and SaaS environments. The incumbent will develop strategy, coordinate drills, produce reports, and ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in operational resiliency, business continuity, disaster recovery, or related risk assessment and remediation in tech or financial services.
• Strong technical aptitude with project management skills and ability to coordinate plans.
• Experience with Azure & AWS built environments, SaaS architecture, and cloud-based DR methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to draft plans across multiple stakeholders.
• Capable of risk ranking multiple high-priority items and advocating for technical teams.
• Experience in Agile SAFe principles and user story development.
• Ability to define and implement risk-based standards and procedures for disruptions.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment while delivering on commitments.
• 5+ years tech experience with leadership exposure preferred.
• Solid knowledge of operational resilience and security controls in critical sectors.
• Picks up CBCP/MBCP/BCCE or similar certifications; crisis management familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Digital Operational Resiliency framework to identify risks.
• Identify critical systems and operations vital to business continuity.
• Lead cross-functional exercises and prioritize remediation efforts.
• Create and maintain business impact assessments and dependency maps.
• Coordinate drills and tabletop exercises for preparedness.
• Maintain DR plans and metrics to protect systems and data.
• Address remediation items and design new processes to close gaps.
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulations and requirements.
• Test operational resilience of programs and produce leadership reports.
• Align team activities with the firm's strategic direction.
• Drive continuous improvement for team processes and resource management.
• Oversee enhancements, support, and project delivery.
• Understand systems, processes, and technologies across the team.
• Develop leadership capabilities and mentor associates.
• Maintain effective cross-team communications and vendor relationships.
