Job summary

Esquire Deposition Solutions, LLC is seeking a Digital Reporter to capture and preserve verbatim records of depositions and judicial proceedings. You'll use specialized recording software and hardware, administer oaths, and annotate testimony for transcription, whether in person or remotely.

The role involves coordinating with clients and legal professionals, ensuring high-quality audio/video documentation, and traveling within a 75-mile radius as needed.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with court procedures and legal terminology.
• Ability to obtain a Notary Public license and CER certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and typing 60 wpm with accuracy.
• AA degree in a related field is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a national background check and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Accurately record legal proceedings using audio/video equipment.
• Administer oaths and maintain independent control.
• Annotate essential testimony for transcription and playback.
• Manage exhibits, backup files, and job-specific worksheets.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and legal professionals.
• Prepare for assignments and respond to communications promptly.
