Job summary

Planet Depos, LLC is seeking a Digital Court Reporter to set up audio/video equipment, capture depositions, and maintain accurate speaker logs. The role requires professionalism, client interaction, and the ability to adapt to evolving environments.

Experience with legal proceedings and digital recording is preferred. The candidate should be comfortable with A/V tech, maintain equipment, and ensure high-quality recordings while remaining neutral throughout proceedings.

Qualifications

• 2- or 4-year degree preferred and comfortable with A/V technologies and digital recording.
• Professional appearance and ability to interface with clients in a professional setting.
• Experience or knowledge of the legal industry is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Set up audio/video equipment quickly and professionally in varied environments.
• Position microphones for optimal audio capture and monitor levels.
• Log speaker identifications and keywords to create a usable outline of the proceedings.
• Swear in deponents and accurately record testimony under oath.
• Maintain calm, neutral, and professional demeanor throughout proceedings.
