Job summary

Esquire Deposition Solutions, LLC is seeking a Digital Reporter to capture verbatim records of depositions and other judicial proceedings, in person or remote, using specialized recording software and hardware to produce high-quality audio/video documentation.

You will administer oaths, annotate testimony for transcription, manage exhibits and backup files, and coordinate with clients and legal professionals with a professional demeanor. Travel up to a 75‑mile radius may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of court procedures, legal terminology, and digital recording technology preferred.
• Ability to obtain Notary Public license and CER certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; touch typing 60 wpm with accuracy.
• Associate’s degree in legal studies, communications, or AV technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately record legal proceedings using advanced audio/video equipment
• Administer oaths and maintain control as an independent authority
• Annotate essential testimony for transcription and playback
• Manage and secure exhibits, backup files, and complete worksheets
• Maintain professionalism and build relationships with clients and legal professionals
• Prepare for assignments and respond to communications promptly
