Job summary

SwissQprint America is seeking a field service technologist based in West Dundee, IL to install, commission, maintain, and repair our high‑precision UV printers. Expect 40%–75% travel across the United States and the autonomy to manage your own itinerary.

You will provide remote hotline support, restore trade‑in equipment, and keep demo printers ready at the Elgin location while collaborating with 2nd‑level support and engineering in Switzerland to drive product improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical foundation.
• Printer installation/service experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Travel 40%–75% across the United States to install, commission, maintain, and repair swissQprint systems.
• Provide remote hotline assistance via phone, email, and tools like TeamViewer when not on site.
• Keep demo printers show-ready at our Elgin, IL location and document service activities.
• Collaborate with 2nd‑level support and Swiss engineers to drive product improvements.
• Handle service documentation and administrative steps for seamless processes.
