**Standard Work Hours are Sun - Thurs 11:00pm - 7:30am plus overtime and scheduled weekends**

Summary/Objective:

Responsible for operating a Canon Océ VarioStream and maintaining digital printing production equipment. Set up, operate, and monitor to produce high-quality prints according to production schedules and customer requirements.

Essential Functions:

1. Set up printing jobs by selecting appropriate settings, loading digital files, and configuring printing parameters according to job specifications.
2. Operate print machine(s) independently for all types of jobs.
3. Handle and prepare printing materials, including loading paper, adjusting settings, and managing inventory.
4. Perform regular maintenance tasks on printing equipment, such as cleaning, calibrating, and troubleshooting technical issues.
5. Consistently achieve expected throughput/efficiency.
6. Able to run 100% mail well for critical clients.
7. Provide proper adjustments to meet established hourly production standards.
8. Ensure proper sorting according to USPS requirements.
9. Reconcile/record all output.
10. Accurately use job data capture to track time.
11. Ensure that the printed materials meet quality standards by monitoring the printing process for consistency, color accuracy, and print quality.
12. Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area.
13. Effectively use quality control procedures to monitor quality of the final output.
14. Review schedule for jobs assigned daily; report issues back to Supervisor.
15. Follow all plant, department, and work area safety rules and operation procedures.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

1. Experience working in the print industry; Canon/HP machines preferred.
2. Experience running high-speed continuous feed digital printing press.
3. Work history of longevity, excellent attendance, and responsibility.
4. Experience working in a detail-oriented and deadline-driven environment.
5. High School/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
6. Knowledge of USPS regulations.
7. Ability to read and understand job tickets.
8. Ability to use powered material handling equipment and stack pallets.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Not responsible for supervising other employees.

Work Environment: Indoor, temperature-controlled, production facility.

Physical Demands:

1. Must be able to stand on feet for at least 8 hours/day.
2. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
3. Personal Protection Equipment (PPE): Certain PPE may be required while performing specific job functions.

Security Clearance: Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
