Hours: Sunday Night - Friday Morning, 10:00 pm - 6:00 am

Essential Duties and Tasks:

To perform this role successfully, individuals must be able to:

  1. Safely set up, operate, and monitor press machinery to meet customer and production goals.
  2. Complete press machine setups, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment.
  3. Monitor production, inspect, and test materials and equipment to ensure quality standards and quotas are met.
  4. Verify and track all materials for inventory and work in progress.
  5. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance.
  6. Train and guide machine assistants and new team members.
  7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of machinery and surrounding areas.
  8. Follow all safety guidelines, wear PPE, and report hazards.
  9. Complete necessary documentation accurately.
  10. Collaborate with other departments and team members to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • No leadership responsibilities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Proactive with sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ethical conduct, technical capacity, deductive reasoning.

Work environment is primarily climate-controlled indoors, with potential exposure to chemicals, dust, moving parts, noise, and hot/humid conditions. PPE is required.

Physical Demands:

Must regularly stand, walk, and handle objects up to 50 pounds. May need certification to operate machinery and access various equipment and areas.
