3rd Shift Press Machine Operator

Hourly Pay Range: $23.50 to $25.00, DOE

Hours: 8:45 pm to 5:15 am

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday

Key responsibilities include:

• Operate press safely and efficiently; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with the previous shift's Press Operator regarding press status.
• Set up print jobs for approval.
• Check color accuracy with X-Rite, input values into QA Master Software.
• Adjust impression and registration; evaluate print quality and execute corrections.
• Manage ink viscosities and ensure correct solvents.
• Collect ink samples from approved jobs.
• Troubleshoot print defects and registration issues.
• Understand material properties and tension, taper, rewind requirements.
• Follow QC procedures and understand customer specifications.
• Interpret job jacket contents and seek guidance when needed.
• Maintain work ethic, attitude, organization, and cleanliness in the press area.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience operating a Flexo press.
• Knowledge of printer inks and color matching.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Ability to lift heavy loads safely.
• Strong communication skills in English.
