Job Title: Press Operator
As a Press Operator, you will be part of a team responsible for accurately and efficiently running various printing presses, depending on the products being manufactured.
What you will be doing:
- Follow all safety requirements, wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while working with inks or chemicals.
- Maintain quality standards for all work performed.
- Use Time Clock and Epicor system correctly.
- Meet or exceed established productivity standards.
- Set up various presses, including knowledge of registration, guides, materials, and inks.
- Get approval on all jobs for color, adhesion, registration, imprint, materials, etc.
- Communicate clearly with Supervisor regarding daily numbers, scrap, etc., and report low supplies.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Log jobs correctly, including scrap.
- Operate presses efficiently.
- Be a great team member!
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Basic Computer Knowledge.
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions in written or oral form.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and communicate effectively.
