Sr. Search Strategist, Executive Accounts

Job Description

The Sr. Search Strategist is responsible for building, maintaining, and growing client relationships by managing advertising campaigns across multiple platforms (search, display, social ads, O&O digital/print media, etc.). The primary goal is to help clients achieve and exceed their marketing objectives through strategic planning and data analysis.

As the Account Manager, you will serve as the main contact for client concerns post-sale. You should possess strong expertise in current and emerging marketing solutions, collaborate effectively with sales and optimization teams, and deliver strategies that maximize ROI. Adaptability and a proactive attitude are crucial in this dynamic role to navigate the evolving marketing landscape.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with sales teams to build rapport, demonstrate transparency, and meet shared business goals.
  • Manage and anticipate client expectations, align with their goals, and engage internal teams accordingly.
  • Maintain open communication channels, providing regular performance reviews and updates.
  • Articulate media strategies and oversee campaign implementation.
  • Collaborate with sales and optimization teams to develop and execute digital strategies that meet client objectives.
  • Advise clients on leveraging marketing strategies effectively.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all digital channels including paid search, organic, display, social media, and print.
  • Review daily campaign performance, assess trends, and identify innovative advertising techniques.
  • Coordinate with support teams to ensure client objectives are met and exceeded.

Key Skills:

  • Quick learner of business processes, marketing, and technology concepts.
  • Proven expertise in customer relationship management and digital marketing tools.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising campaigns (Search, Display, etc.).
  • Technical skills to assess and optimize campaigns throughout their lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in relationship building and account management.
  • Efficiency in streamlining processes and workflows.
  • Moderate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, marketing, or related field.
  • At least 2 years managing digital advertising campaigns.
  • Minimum of 3 years client-facing service or account management experience.
  • Google Ads and Analytics certifications.

The annual base salary ranges from $55,000 to $81,000. Additional variable compensation may apply based on performance. Salary varies by skills, experience, location, and union status.
