Job summary

Emory Healthcare is seeking an experienced Digital Pathology Supervisor to lead the Digital Imaging Technicians and Pathology Imaging Workflow Administrator, ensuring smooth daily operations and high‑quality results.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, performance reviews, and coordinating with leadership on personnel matters, while driving process improvements and maintaining compliance across the pathology workflow. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical lab science, or related field.
• Five (5) years of related Pathology experience; two+ years supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day management of Digital Imaging Technicians and Pathology Imaging Workflow Administrator(s).
• Plan and direct HR tasks: staffing, scheduling, hiring, and training.
• Provide ongoing performance feedback and conduct evaluations.
• Collaborate with leadership on personnel issues and disciplinary actions.
• Monitor inventory and procurement for the department as needed.
• Lead process improvement projects and data reporting for workflow optimization.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Train staff on scanners, maintenance, and problem‑solving associated with digital pathology.
