Job summary

STRS Ohio is seeking a Digital Outreach Associate/Coordinator to support website and digital communications within the Executive/ Communications and Public Affairs team. The role covers front‑end development, HTML emails and accessibility standards, with collaboration across teams and a focus on accurate, accessible digital content.

The position requires a relevant bachelor’s degree and 1–5 years of related experience, on‑site work in Columbus, Ohio, and a strong command of HTML/CSS/JavaScript

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in web design, digital design, communications or a related field.
• One to three years of related experience in web development, digital communications, graphic design or a related area preferred.
• Three to five years of experience working in web design/development required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing, testing, updating and maintaining organizational websites, forms and web-based applications.
• Design, develop, test, implement and maintain organization websites, forms and applications to meet organizational needs.
• Code sites using semantically correct code including comments (documentation) for other developers.
