Job summary

STRS Ohio is seeking a Web Communications Manager to lead and manage its online presence for members, employers and stakeholders. You will implement and manage websites, forms and applications, and direct online communications and marketing efforts.

You'll design, develop and maintain responsive sites with accessible, standards‑based code, collaborate with ITS for stability, and ensure ADA compliance across devices and browsers. Strong front‑end and back‑end skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of web design and development experience.
• Experience with HTML email development and ADA accessibility requirements.
• Ability to lead front‑end and back‑end web projects across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead STRS Ohio’s online presence for members, employers and stakeholders.
• Design, develop, test and maintain responsive websites and forms.
• Develop data‑driven pages and secure forms using HTML, jQuery, PHP, CSV and XML.
• Manage online communications and marketing efforts; collaborate with ITS.
• Create HTML email templates and monitor analytics for improvements.
• Oversee third‑party programs, evaluations and vendor relationships.
• Ensure ADA compliance and usability across devices and browsers.
