Job summary

Newtown Savings Bank is seeking an organized, self-motivated team player to join our Information Technology department as a Digital Account Opening & Payments Specialist. This onsite position at our Newtown, CT corporate office offers one remote day per week.

The role supports day-to-day administration of digital and remote account opening platforms and payment services, including testing, vendor coordination, and performance monitoring to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in banking-related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• Strong initiative and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage and support digital and remote account opening channels and onboarding technologies.
• Serve as SME for online account opening platform and onboarding processes.
• Support payments strategy through administration, enhancement, and optimization of payment services.
