Job summary

U.S. Bank in Spokane, WA is seeking a Relationship Banker to engage customers across in-person, by appointment, and digital channels, delivering trusted financial guidance and a digital-first experience.

You will open accounts, process service requests, and educate clients on products while partnering with branch teams to serve clients with accuracy and empathy in a fast-paced retail banking environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically has a minimum four to five years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems.
• Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services.
• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions.
• Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.
• Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up, asking questions and learning about their financial needs.
• Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests and submit credit applications.
• Proactively educate clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services to assist with meeting their financial needs.
