Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to build and manage client relationships across in-person, appointment, and virtual channels. You will educate clients on banking products, process account openings, and guide customers toward digital self-service options.

Role requires strong communication, proactive outreach, and knowledge of bank policies. Location is on-site at a U.S. Bank branch; NMLS registration may apply.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
• Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
• Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
• Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
• Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively
• Experience in the financial services industry preferred

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers through multiple channels, including in-person and virtual.
• Educate clients on deposit and loan products and services and recommend solutions.
• Open new consumer and business accounts and process service requests.
• Advise on digital products and self-service technologies to meet client needs.
• Collaborate with branch teammates to serve clients with excellence.
• Maintain knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services.
