Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal’s PEPI CFO Services practice seeks a senior advisor to guide digital finance transformations, analytics, and forecasting for PE portfolio companies. You will connect with clients, define analyses, and lead multi‑workstream engagements.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in accounting/finance, experience with RPA, predictive forecasting, data visualization, and professional credentials such as CPA/CFA/MBA. Salary range is $125,000–$190,000 with a discretionary bonus program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited 4‑year college/university with a concentration in accounting, finance, or economics preferred but not required.
• Experience in digital finance technologies including RPA, predictive forecasting, finance analytics, NLG, and data visualization.
• Over 8 years of experience related to accounting/finance, financial due diligence, restructuring, investment banking, or private equity.
• Proficiency in understanding financial models, data analytics, and presentation skills.
• CPA, CFA, MBA, or master’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Connect with client to facilitate information gathering.
• Guide and facilitate client interviews and ensure all relevant data are considered and pursued.
• Define types of analyses needed to prove or disprove assumptions, ensuring complete, accurate and timely execution.
• Apply industry and functional knowledge to identify business drivers and issues.
• Understand and develop a framework given project parameters.
• Develop actionable conclusions from analyses.
• Project management and implementation.
• Lead components of projects with multiple service lines and lead smaller projects independently.
• Proactively manage client expectations and minimize risks and negative impacts on project.
• Develop straightforward actionable plans and lead individual workstreams independently.
• Design cash‑generating initiatives, EBITDA improvements, optimal organizational structure to drive client value.
• Anticipate risks and obstacles early, create contingency plans and communicate timely with client.
• Engage and work collaboratively with senior management; obtain buy‑in from senior management/board members on actionable plans.
