Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal's Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice seeks a Senior Associate, Digital Finance to drive transformation initiatives for portfolio companies, improving transparency into key drivers and business performance while delivering cash and EBITDA benefits. The role requires 2–4 years of experience in accounting/finance, with expertise in digital finance tools (RPA, finance analytics, NLG, predictive forecasting).

CPA/CFA/MBA preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Digital Finance transformation expertise and proven implementation experience.
• Experience applying digital finance tools (RPA, finance analytics, NLG, predictive forecasting) to improve efficiency and transparency.
• Finance & accounting process‑improvement experience and ability to automate processes.
• Knowledge of digital finance tools and vendors.
• Experience implementing digital tools for finance in large public corporations or PE‑owned portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

• Connect with client to facilitate information gathering and interview planning.
• Define analyses needed to prove or disprove assumptions with complete, accurate data.
• Develop actionable conclusions and lead cross‑functional workstreams.
• Design cash‑generating initiatives and EBITDA improvements within client engagements.
• Manage client expectations, risks, and project timelines effectively.
