Job summary

HonorBuilt is looking for a full-time Digital Field Service Technician based in the North Houston region. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of Point-of-Sale systems and hardware in various restaurants, along with performing Wellness Visits and maintenance checks.

The position requires background in technical troubleshooting and the ability to travel frequently within the local market using a company vehicle. Offered benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, a company vehicle, and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Valid REAL-ID compliant driver's license required.
• Ability to pass criminal background checks and drug testing.
• Experience in restaurant or customer service environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install Point-of-Sale systems and hardware in restaurants.
• Perform Wellness Visits and maintenance checks on systems.
• Conduct weekly travel within the local market using a company vehicle.

Our team is looking for an individual to fill the position of Digital Field Service Technician in the North Houston region. The position ranges from installation of Point‑of‑Sale and other hardware in a restaurant or retail environment along with Wellness Visits and maintenance checks. The position is full‑time. Qualifications

• Weekly travel with company vehicle within the local market (some weeks daily driving to cover all restaurants in a certain market)
• Basic Windows OS and Microsoft Office knowledge; technical troubleshooting abilities
• Valid REAL‑ID compliant driver's license
• Ability to pass criminal background checks
• Ability to pass pre‑hire and ongoing random drug testing
• Experience working with basic hand tools and drills

Bonus Qualifications

• Restaurant or related customer service field experience
• Point‑of‑Sale system exposure/experience
• CAT‑5 cabling experience
• Knowledge of configuring a network system

Physical Requirements

• Walk distances up to a half mile
• Work standing on a concrete surface continuously 8‑10 hours – frequently
