Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Digital Enablement Lead to drive customer engagement and achieve digital platform targets in Northeast Iowa. You will deliver on-farm expertise, educate growers on Bayer’s digital solutions, and collaborate with the Climate FieldView and New Business Models teams.

The role focuses on coaching sales squads, identifying digital trials, and translating customer needs into actionable features while supporting data-driven agronomy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Agriculture or related field required.
• Strong communication and ability to influence key stakeholders.
• Experience with digital farming platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-farm expertise for installation and troubleshooting of Bayer’s precision agriculture technologies.
• Coach squad members to improve digital acumen and drive customer acquisition and engagement.
• Identify digital trial opportunities with farmers, dealers, and retailers.
• Demonstrate proficiency in FieldView, DMP, and hardware setup; ensure farm compatibility.
• Provide input on customer needs to Digital and Crop Mission Teams.
• Develop use cases for features and train team members accordingly.
• Train FSRs and dealers in data-driven agronomic decision-making with FieldView.
• Assist customers in data acquisition and clean-up.
• Train on execution of NBM workflow.
