Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Digital Factory Engineer to join our team and help develop advanced factory modeling and simulation capabilities across 45+ factories. You will build standard work, train end users, and support deployment projects globally.

Ideal candidates have a manufacturing or mechanical engineering background, knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement, and strong problem-solving with software tools for enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering disciplines required and relevant experience in manufacturing settings.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and process or systems analysis.
• Programming fundamentals and ability to reason about software applications for deployment to end users.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and apply factory modeling and simulation tools across the enterprise.
• Develop, document, and deploy standard operating procedures and training materials for deployment.
• Support ongoing pilot projects and deployment efforts in global factories and distribution centers.
• Collaborate with Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Product Engineering and Plant Operations.
