Job summary

Foxconn is seeking an Industrial Engineer to oversee factory layout planning and digital factory initiatives for AI server and rack production. The role involves developing 3D factory models, running simulations, and coordinating with facilities, test, and EHS teams to ensure safe, scalable layouts across NPI to MP stages.

Applicants should have 4–7 years in industrial/manufacturing engineering, a related Bachelor's degree, and proficiency with AutoCAD and simulation tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or related certification preferred; AutoCAD, NVIDIA Omniverse, or FlexSim certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain factory layout drawings and space allocation plans in AutoCAD.
• Design and optimize material, logistics, and personnel flow to minimize travel distance and congestion.
• Build and maintain 3D digital factory models and digital twins using NVIDIA Omniverse/OpenUSD.
• Develop discrete-event simulation models to validate capacity, throughput, and manpower.
• Coordinate layout and utility requirements with facilities, EHS, and contractor teams; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze space utilization, automate planning workflows, and prepare proposals for management and customers.
