Job summary

Foxconn is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager in Santa Clara, CA to lead the engineering execution for AI server rack programs, including NPI design, DFM/DFA, tooling, and mass production readiness. The role interfaces with PM, Production, Quality, IE, R&D, and customer teams to ensure smooth transitions from NPI to volume manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in manufacturing engineering with 3+ years of people management, and a strong track record in NPI ramp, QoS

Qualifications

10+ years of manufacturing engineering or related experience in electronics manufacturing.
At least 3 years of people management experience.
Experience leading NPI process design, DFM/DFA reviews, and manufacturing KPI management.

Responsibilities

Lead the Manufacturing Engineering organization across NPI design, DFM/DFA, equipment/tooling, and production line readiness for AI server racks and mass production.
Own NPI process design and mass-production transition, including DFM/DFA reviews, validation, pilot builds, and readiness sign-off.
Oversee equipment, tooling, and facility readiness, including fixture/jig design, heavy-lift equipment procurement, preventive maintenance, and layout optimization.
Manage manufacturing documentation and standardization priorities (Assembly SOPs, Work Instructions, MBOM, Product/Packaging Specs).
Drive KPI improvement, risk mitigation, escalation, and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives across Mechanical, Maintenance, and Product Engineers.
