Job summary

St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office is seeking a Digital Evidence Technician to gather, log, and distribute digital evidence from many police agencies within the county. You will work with attorneys and paralegals on trial preparation and assist with courtroom technology.

The role requires organizing multiple projects under tight deadlines, including editing video and audio when needed, and collaborating with the County IT department to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is needed; IT training preferred.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems and related software used by the Prosecutor’s Office; ability to support attorneys and manage digital media evidence.

Responsibilities

• Gathering, logging, and distributing digital evidence from multiple police agencies; assist with trial prep.
• Edit video and audio; work with attorneys, paralegals and legal secretaries; liaise with County IT.
