Job summary

The Broward State Attorney's Office is seeking a Multimedia Specialist I to remotely assist SAO staff with technical issues. The role supports assistants with CD copies, large printouts, AV redactions, and courtroom presentations, and involves setting up devices, troubleshooting Windows, and maintaining video/audio workflows.

Candidates should have at least 2 years in digital evidence or related experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Adobe, Microsoft

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in digital evidence or an equivalent combination of experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with graphic design, photo correction, and video editing software.
• Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition CC, Adobe Premiere CC, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong skills in Sound Forge, Snagit, and HandBrake.
• Strong knowledge of DSLR and video camera functionality.
• Familiar with MS Windows based OS, MS productivity software, CPU/Networking hardware, TCP/IP network protocols, LAN/WAN.

Responsibilities

• Answer staff questions via phone or email promptly.
• Assist staff to set up computers and diagnose issues.
• Work with Active Directory to create and edit user accounts.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot computer, tablet and laptop problems.
• Install and update SAO software and hardware as needed.
• Convert and redact video and audio files for courtroom use.
• Set up equipment and provide support for video/audio presentations.
• Record statements in court and conference rooms.
• Troubleshoot Windows 10 issues.
• Install drivers and add hardware including printers, scanners and peripherals.
