Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in the Service Delivery Center to balance hands-on software engineering with project leadership. You will guide multidisciplinary teams through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support, while staying close to code and key technical decisions.

• Bachelor degree in a related field.
• TECHNICAL delivery experience with Java/Spring Boot and microservices.
• Experience guiding full-stack engineering decisions and UI framework choices.
• Proven ability to work with cloud platforms and multi-site teams.
• Strong CI/CD, testing, and code-quality practices; travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software delivery across planning, design, build, test, release, and production support.
• Remain hands-on with coding, reviews, troubleshooting, and technical proofs-of-concept.
• Guide solution design using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and UI frameworks.
• Plan Agile delivery with backlog refinement, sprint planning, and demos.
• Coordinate work across distributed teams and time zones with clear ownership.
• Mentor engineers through coaching, design reviews, and career development.
• Partner with product owners, architects, QA, DevOps, security, and clients.
• Monitor scope, schedule, quality, risks, and progress, elevating impediments.
• Promote secure development, CI/CD, observability, and operational readiness.
• Support event-driven data solutions using Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, or Flink when needed.
