Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in the Service Delivery Center to balance hands-on software engineering with delivery leadership. You will guide multidisciplinary teams through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support while staying close to code and decisions.

You will coordinate delivery across geographically distributed teams, mentor engineers, manage dependencies and risks, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 6+ years of technology software development experience with leading project teams or delivery workstreams.
• Hands-on coding with Java and Spring Boot, microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Angular or React and guiding full-stack decisions.
• Experience on major cloud platforms and enterprise apps.
• Proficiency with source control, automation, CI/CD, containers, testing, and code-quality gates.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, distributed teams, and stakeholder collaboration.
• Mentorship and coaching to raise engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software delivery across planning, design, development, testing, release, and production support.
• Remain hands-on with coding, reviews, troubleshooting, and technical proof-of-concepts.
• Guide solution design using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and UI frameworks.
• Plan Agile delivery, backlogs, sprints, estimation, and release readiness.
• Coordinate work across distributed teams and time zones.
• Mentor engineers, perform design reviews, and support career development.
• Partner with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into delivery plans.
• Monitor scope, schedule, quality, risks; communicate progress and escalations.
• Promote secure development, CI/CD, observability, and operational readiness.
• Support event-driven and data-processing solutions when required.
