EY is seeking a Manager in the Service Delivery Center to balance hands-on software engineering with project leadership. You will guide multidisciplinary teams through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support, while coordinating across time zones and stakeholders.

You will mentor engineers and translate business needs into actionable delivery plans. You will stay close to code, lead architectural decisions, and drive Agile delivery, cloud adoption, and secure development

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of technology software development experience, including leadership of project teams or major delivery workstreams.
• Hands-on coding experience with Java and Spring Boot, including microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Angular or React and guiding full-stack engineering decisions.
• Experience deploying and supporting enterprise apps on a major cloud platform.
• Practical experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, container deployments, tests, and code-quality gates.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, including sprint planning, estimation, backlog management, release planning, and delivery tracking.
• Experience coordinating distributed teams across geographies and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Proven mentorship and coaching skills to improve engineering practices and team capability.
• Experience with asynchronous and event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
• Experience with logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability (e.g., Splunk).
• Knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, or Flink for batch/real-time data processing.
• Ability to manage delivery risks, production issues, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end delivery of software engineering work across planning, design, development, testing, release, and production support.
• Remain hands-on with coding, code reviews, troubleshooting, and technical proof-of-concepts.
• Guide solution design using Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native patterns.
• Plan and manage Agile delivery, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, and demos.
• Coordinate work across geographically distributed teams with clear ownership and smooth handoffs.
• Mentor engineers through coaching, design reviews, and career development conversations.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, DevOps, security, and client stakeholders to translate requirements into delivery plans.
• Monitor scope, schedule, quality, risks, issues, and delivery metrics; communicate progress and mitigations.
• Promote secure development, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and operational readiness.
• Support event-driven and data-processing solutions using Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, Flink as needed.
