Job summary

Western Resource Advocates seeks a Digital Engagement Specialist to grow our supporter base and manage email/web content for advocacy and fundraising efforts. You will collaborate with Development, Government Affairs, and program staff to drive content marketing and digital campaigns, helping to grow our constituent base.

The role supports content creation, SEO optimization, and audience analytics across our seven-state region, with flexible remote/hybrid options and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in web and email management with digital engagement strategy.
• Experience with a marketing CRM and growing email lists.
• Experience creating website content and blogs with SEO basics.
• Strong writing, proofreading, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in WordPress or similar CMS and basic HTML/CSS.

Responsibilities

• Lead email and web content for integrated digital campaigns for advocacy and fundraising.
• Develop and optimize content using SEO, content calendars, and collateral workflows.
• Draft blogs and landing pages; oversee content production timelines.
• Collaborate across departments to grow email lists and engagement metrics.
• Track analytics and develop dashboards to inform strategy.
