Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders with speed and accuracy at our Michigan locations. You will provide excellent service to customers, help ensure a smooth pickup experience, and support other curbside operations.

We value strong communication, reliability, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly. Prior retail and cashier experience is a plus for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area with accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude in person and on the phone.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members, and store leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders during the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items using bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
