Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge of the legal industry.
• 2- or 4-year degree preferred.
• Comfort with A/V technologies and digital recording.
• Professional appearance and client-facing experience.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and after-hours work.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up audio/video equipment in new environments in a professional and tidy manner.
• Position microphone for optimal audio capture.
• Monitor and mix multiple audio tracks for proper levels.
• Set white balance and exposure for varied environments.
• Maintain appropriate video framing per legal videography norms.
• Assist clients with audio, video, and technology issues in-person and remotely.
• Log key events during proceedings and note spellings, exhibits, and objections.
• Swear in deponents and record testimony under oath accurately.
