We are looking for a Digital Content Manager who can bring this to life across our global digital ecosystem - connecting brand, product, and consumer through clear strategy, strong execution, and scalable content that drives both engagement and business impact.
The Digital Content Manager leads Joie’s global digital content ecosystem across social media, websites, and email, ensuring a consistent, high-quality brand experience across markets.
This role owns the global content strategy, planning, and governance for digital channels and serves as the central connection point between the global brand, regional marketing teams, and e-Commerce partners. The Digital Content Manager ensures content is scalable, locally adaptable, and aligned to business priorities.
As both a strategic leader and people manager, the role is responsible for setting clear standards, building efficient and repeatable processes, and developing a high-performing team that delivers measurable impact.
Global Content & Planning
- Own Joie’s global digital content strategy across social, web, and email channels.
- Build, maintain, and govern a single, integrated global content calendar across digital channels.
- Lead cross-functional planning with regional marketing teams and ecommerce partners to align product launches, campaigns, and key commercial moments.
- Balance global brand consistency and priorities with regional market needs, enabling effective localization.
- Own and evolve Joie’s global organic social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and emerging platforms.
- Oversee global social content planning and execution in alignment with the broader global content calendar.
- Manage and develop the Social Media Manager, including goal setting, performance management, and capability developments.
- Ensure global social content is built for scalability and localization across subsidiaries and distributor markets.
- Partner with PR and customer service teams to establish clear community management standards and escalation protocols.
Web Content Oversight
- Oversee global brand content across EMEA, LATAM, and APAC Joie websites, in partnership with regional teams, IT and eCommerce.
- Manage and develop the Website Coordinator, driving clear priorities, workflows, and quality standards.
- Ensure website content aligns with global brand storytelling, campaign priorities, commercial objectives, and content timing.
- Optimize content to effectively communicate product features, merchandise across the range, and help consumer decision making.
- Partner with the EU ecommerce team on global and regional email marketing initiatives.
- Ensure alignment of email content with broader campaign strategy and global content calendar.
- Review and approve email content and design to ensure consistency with brand standards.
Platforms, Tools & Governance
- Own Joie’s digital content and social media platforms (e.g., Hootsuite and related tools).
- Establish scalable workflows, governance models, and onboarding processes for regional teams.
- Evaluate and implement tools to improve content planning, execution, and reporting.
Leadership & Performance
- Lead, coach, and develop a small global digital content team.
- Define, track and report on digital content KPIs tied to brand and commercial outcomes.
- Deliver clear, actionable insights to global marketing leadership.
- Contribute to long-term planning for content scalability, channel evolution, and capability building.

Requirements & Qualifications
Experience
- Five (5) to (8) years of experience in digital content, social media, or digital marketing roles.
- Experience operating in global or multi-market environments.
- Proven people leadership experience, including direct management and development of team members.
- Strong understanding of content strategy across social, web, and email.
- Experience managing digital platforms and content workflows.
- Highly organized with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in German strongly preferred.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills, including timeline management, task tracking, and documentation.
- Able to manage multiple deadlines and maintain accuracy across calendars, trackers, checklists, and recurring deliverables.
- Strong writing, proofreading, and attention to detail, with the ability to align content with brand tone and voice.
- Ability to proof and validate campaign details, including links, asset versions, formatting, and tracking elements, prior to launch.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across internal teams and external partners.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing performance metrics across social, email, SMS, and affiliate channels.
- Skilled at interpreting performance data and translate metrics into clear summaries, action items, and next steps.
- Able to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Technology
Strong Proficiency with:
- Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word.
- Social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Social media management tools such as Emplifi, Hootsuite, or Sprout.
- Meta Business Manager / Ads Manager.
- Google Analytics and social platform reporting tools.
- Canva & Adobe Creative Suite for basic editing, formatting, & social content support
- Project management software (Wrike or ASANA preferred).
Familiar with:
- New digital platforms, tools, & workflows, with the ability to learn & adapt quickly
- Ability to quickly and proficiently learn new software with ease.
Other
As business needs warrant:
- Ability to work extended hours may on occasion include nights and weekends.
- Domestic & International Travel up to 10%.
- Ability to obtain a valid passport.
