Job summary

West Kentucky Allied Services, Inc. (WKAS) seeks a dedicated VISTA to modernize client records and case management workflows from Mayfield, KY. This full-time, 365-day service year will digitize backlogged files and build scalable processes to strengthen service delivery for families.

Auditing records, configuring a centralized database, and creating standardized intake forms are core duties. Eligible members may receive Federal Non-Competitive Eligibility after successful completion of service.

Responsibilities

• Audit and categorize historical paper files, including 2021 tornado records, and create a prioritized digitization plan.
• Select, configure, and test a centralized digital case management database tailored to agency workflows.
• Develop standardized digital intake forms, data entry protocols, and client outcome tracking processes.
• Digitize priority records and pilot digital intake and case management workflows with active client cases to identify and resolve system issues.
• Write a comprehensive user manual and train WKAS case managers and administrative staff to maintain the system beyond your service year.
