Job summary

Micron Technology in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Digital Design Engineer Intern to help design and develop next-generation ASIC solutions. You will work with experienced engineers across digital, analog and mixed-signal design and contribute to the complete ASIC development lifecycle.

The role offers hands-on exposure to high-speed digital logic, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and opportunities to apply AI-enabled design methods to improve productivity.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Understanding of digital logic design, verification methodologies, and high-speed digital interfaces.
• Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, Linux Shell, or similar.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of high-speed digital logic for tester ASICs and memory controller IP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design Verification, Analog Design, Synthesis, Physical Design, and Lab Validation.
• Assist with integrating digital designs alongside custom analog circuitry and third-party IP solutions.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
• Present technical concepts and project updates to engineering teams.
• Explore and leverage AI-enabled design methodologies to improve productivity and innovation.
