Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an enthusiastic Digital Design Engineer Intern to join the ASIC Logic Design Team. You will help design and develop next-generation ASIC solutions, working with experienced engineers across digital, analog, and mixed-signal domains.

You will contribute to high-speed digital logic for tester ASICs and memory controller IP, learn industry-standard design processes, and gain hands-on experience in semiconductor design lifecycle within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Understanding of digital logic design, verification methodologies, and high-speed digital interfaces.
• Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, Linux Shell, or similar.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Must be enrolled in a degree program and not graduate before August 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of high-speed digital logic for tester ASICs and memory controller IP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design Verification, Analog Design, Synthesis, Physical Design, and Lab Validation.
• Assist with integrating digital designs alongside custom analog circuitry and third-party IP solutions.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
• Present technical concepts and project updates to engineering teams.
• Explore and leverage AI-enabled design methodologies, including Generative AI and AI-assisted engineering workflows.
• Learn industry-standard design processes and best practices used in advanced semiconductor development.
