Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Digital Design Engineer Intern to help design and develop next-generation ASIC solutions.

You will work with experienced engineers on high-speed digital logic for tester ASICs and memory controller IP, gaining exposure to digital, analog, and mixed-signal design throughout the ASIC development lifecycle. Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of digital logic design, verification methodologies, and high-speed digital interfaces.
• Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, Linux Shell, or similar.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of high-speed digital logic for tester ASICs and memory controller IP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design Verification, Analog Design, Synthesis, Physical Design, and Lab Validation.
• Assist with integrating digital designs alongside custom analog circuitry and third-party IP solutions.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
• Present technical concepts and project updates to engineering teams.
• Explore and leverage AI-enabled design methodologies to improve productivity and innovation.
• Learn industry-standard design processes and best practices used in advanced semiconductor development.
