Job summary

UP Health System - Marquette is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinic Care Coordinator to join the Digestive and Liver team. The role focuses on care coordination, patient education, triage, and collaboration with providers to deliver high-quality outpatient care in a GI/hepatic setting.

The ideal candidate will have Michigan RN licensure, an associate degree in nursing (bachelor’s preferred), and a strong background in coordinating clinical services with accreditation and Joint Commission

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license required.
• Associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP) certification required.
• Five years of healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates staff scheduling, educational/development activities, and performance evaluations.
• Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of clinical services.
• Performs QA/QI studies and assists with QA/QI initiatives.
• Serves as a resource to staff and external contacts on patient care, patient flow and standards.
