Job summary

Ciena Healthcare is seeking a Dietitian Supervisor to oversee the dietary department, ensuring residents receive nutritious meals aligned with physician orders and policies. You will supervise staff, participate in care planning, and ensure regulatory compliance in food service operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Dietetics or related field, with experience in healthcare settings and knowledge of MDS, care planning, and clinical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field required.
• 1+ year experience as a Dietician in healthcare or skilled nursing preferred.
• 1–2 years management/supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the dietary department and supervises staff to meet resident nutritional needs and regulatory standards.
• Participates in department head meetings and care planning conferences.
• Manages food and supply purchasing within budget and ensures adequate meal coverage.
• Guides diet planning, menu formulation, and preparation of regular and therapeutic diets.
