You will supervise kitchen staff, manage menu planning, and coordinate with nursing and care teams.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, diet documentation, and collaboration to maintain high standards of patient nutrition and safety in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field required.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing dietary and nutritional services preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or skilled nursing settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the dietary department and supervises staff to meet residents' nutritional needs.
• Participates in department head and care plan meetings.
• Oversees purchasing and budgeting for food and supplies.
• Guides diet planning, menu formulation, and service of diets.
• Ensures menus meet physician orders and regulatory guidelines.
