Caring Professionals, Inc. seeks a Dietary Manager to oversee food operations for residents in a long-term care facility. You will supervise food service staff, manage menus, production, and nutrition documentation while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Work includes coordinating with a clinical dietician, documenting weights and intakes, and maintaining accurate records and inventories in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Dietary Manager's Certificate required; enroll within 90 days if not certified, complete within 18 months.
• 2+ years of food supervision in long-term care preferred but not required.
• Computer experience is a plus; strong leadership and communication skills expected.

Responsabilités

• Meet new residents and families for dietary information.
• Keep resident dietary cards up to date; attend care conferences.
• Plan menus and supervise food preparation and serving.
• Determine diet plans and portions based on needs and availability.
• Adjust meals for nutritional requirements of residents.
• Inspect food quality, temperature and presentation before serving.
• Coordinate with the Director of Nursing on dietary acceptability.
• Document meals, menus, diets, costs and inventories.
