Job summary

Outfield-Healthcare-Partners is seeking an experienced Dietary Manager to lead the dietary department in a healthcare facility. You will supervise nutrition services, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate care with Registered Dietitians and the administrative team.

The role requires oversight of food quality, safety, and resident nutrition, with a focus on individualized dietary plans and efficient operations. Strong leadership and facility coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• CDM/CFPP/DTR or equivalent training.
• Associate's or higher degree in food service management or hospitality.
• 2+ years of food service supervision; long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of nutrition service within the dietary department.
• Provide leadership to ensure food quality, safety standards, and resident satisfaction.
• Coordinate nutrition care under supervision of Registered Dietitian and Administrator.
• Plan purchases using forecasts, inventory, and budgets; liaise with purchasing dept and local producers.
• Participate in department budget planning and monthly reporting to administrator.
• Communicate with RDN, dietetic technicians, nursing, residents, and families about nutrition care.
• Maintain resident information in the center's electronic systems.
• Adapt services to resident preferences and develop individualized diets when needed.
• Document progress notes and contribute to care plans.
